The quickest way to get from Keflavík to Hveragerði is to drive. One of the best things about Hveragerdi is its proximity to Reykjavik. The town is located about 45 km (28 mi) southeast of Iceland’s capital city. If you’re going by car, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) south of Reykjavik. The cheapest way to get from Keflavík to Hveragerði is to line 55 bus and line 21 bus and line 51 bus which costs $17 – $25 and takes 3h 13m. There is no direct bus from Keflavík to Hveragerði. However, there are services departing from Miðstöð and arriving at Hveragerði via Reykjavík. Get off at the Shell Hveragerði stop, located close to the gas station with a store.
