Icelandic national team gears up for Worlds
Garmin Eldslóðin is the final tune-up race for the Icelandic national trail running team ahead of the World Trail Championships. On the start list are national team runners Þorsteinn Roy, Þorbergur Ingi, Grétar Örn, Elísa Kristinsdóttir, and Stefán Pálsson. The World Trail Championships kicks off in Spain September 26–27. Víkingamótin, the crew behind Garmin Eldslóðin, are one of the key backers of the Icelandic trail team.
