Bib Pickup Tomorrow Friday
Race Packet Pick-Up – Friday, September 12
Race packets for the Garmin Eldslóðin, taking place on Saturday, September 13 at Vífilsstaðir, will be available for pick-up tomorrow, Friday, from 12:00–18:00 at Útilíf, Skeifan 11, Reykjavík.
We’re expecting around 550 runners at the event. Both the 29k and 10k distances are fully sold out, with only spots remaining in the 5k.
This year’s 5k course is brand-new, designed by Friðleifur Friðleifsson, head coach of Iceland’s national trail running team. He describes the route as “technically demanding and a bit tough, but also scenic and a fantastic run.”
